The Metea Valley Mustangs the host Neuqua Valley Wildcats baseball team by a tally of 7-5 in Thursday's league bout.
The Mustangs now hold a 10-10 record. They take the field next when they host Naperville North for a DuPage Valley bout on Monday, May 1. Metea Valley will face a Huskies team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 9-7.
Next, the Wildcats face the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 29. Neuqua Valley will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Bengals enter the bout with a 5-17 record after their 15-6 league loss to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL).
