Florida High School Baseball - Strawberry Crest wallops Newsome

Strawberry Crest Chargers (Dover, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Newsome Wolves (Lithia, FL), 11-0 in a league test.

With the win, Strawberry Crest upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Chargers travel to Ridge Community (Davenport, FL) to battle the Bolts in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Bolts come into the test with a record of 6-18. Ridge Community lost 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Victory Christian Academy (Lakeland, FL)

With the defeat, Newsome falls to 14-9 on the season. The Wolves travel to Haines City (Haines City, FL) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 16-7. Haines City lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Frostproof (Frostproof, FL)
