Michigan High School Baseball - St. Mary Catholic Central holds off Sand Creek

St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels (Monroe, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sand Creek Aggies (Sand Creek, MI), 9-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, St. Mary Catholic Central upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Falcons/Kestrels host Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI) to battle the Red Devils in a Huron test on Monday, May 1. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 3-10. Grosse Ile won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Garden City (Garden City, MI)
With the defeat, Sand Creek falls to 1-4 on the season. The Aggies travel to Clinton (Clinton, MI) to battle the Redwolves in a non-league test on Saturday, April 29. The Redwolves come into the test with a record of 9-0.
