The Marvin Ridge Mavericks topped the visiting Sun Valley Spartans volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.
The Mavericks now have a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covenant Day for a non-league test on Friday, May 5.
The Spartans (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Weddington (Matthews, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Weddington gained a win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC), 3-1, in a non-league test.
