The Medina Battling Bees volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 1 in the Battling Bees non-league victory on Thursday.

The Battling Bees now possess a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nordonia for a non-league game on Monday, May 1. Medina will meet a Knights team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Steele (Amherst, OH). The Knights record now stands at 14-6.

The Rough Riders (3-13) will now prepare for their game against Villa Angela-St. Joseph (Cleveland, OH). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 7-10 record. In their last game, Villa Angela-St. Joseph defeated Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH), 3-1, in a non-league game.
