The Nevada Union Miners topped the visiting Ponderosa Bruins volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Miners now have a 26-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mesa Verde for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 2. Nevada Union will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 14-11.
The Bruins (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Rio Americano (Sacramento, CA). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 22-5 record. In their last test, Rio Americano gained a win over Sacramento (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
