Illinois High School Volleyball - Northtown can't hold off Walther Christian Academy

In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Walther Christian Academy Broncos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Northtown Pumas.
The Broncos (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL). The Cristeros come into the Chicago Prep battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Cristo Rey Jesuit was edged by Rochelle Zell Jewish (Deerfield, IL), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Pumas clash with the Christ the King Gladiators (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Prep battle, on Monday, May 1. Northtown will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Gladiators come into the battle with a 1-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Islamic Foundation (Villa Park, IL).
