In Thursday's league contest, the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) lacrosse squad the visiting George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV), by a count of 4-1.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) in a WVSLA - Division I contest, on Friday, April 28. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Red Dragons come into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 15-5 league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV).

The Patriots now own a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host John Marshall for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 29. George Washington will confront a Monarchs squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-6.
