In Thursday's league test, the visiting Ellington Knights lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-7 victory over the Suffield Wildcats.
The Knights now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Windsor for a non-league test on Friday, April 28. Ellington will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 11-8 league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Rockville Rams (Vernon, CT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 2. Suffield will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, CT).
