The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) and the visiting Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), saw Salem's lacrosse team top Jefferson Forest by a margin of 17-2.

The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots enter the River Ridge challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Patrick Henry beat Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 11-7, in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers (4-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Conyers, GA). The Seminoles enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
