The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) and the host Pelham Memorial Pelicans (Pelham, NY), saw Rye's lacrosse team overcome Pelham Memorial by a margin of 15-8.

The Garnets (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY). The Raiders enter the Section I -D challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Scarsdale was overwhelmed by Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY), 10-8, in a league challenge.
