In Thursday's league battle, the host North Mecklenburg Vikings soccer squad scored a good 9-0 triumph over the West Mecklenburg Hawks.

The Vikings (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the Queen City 3A/4A outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Chambers was overwhelmed by Hough (Cornelius, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Hawks battle the Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A outing, on Thursday, May 4. West Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 1-13 season record.
