The Riverheads Gladiators soccer team (Staunton, VA), was nipped 3-2 in Thursday's league outing with the host Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA)
With the win, Stuarts Draft advances its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA) to play the Green Hornets in a Shenandoah contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Green Hornets enter the contest with a record of 9-0.
The Gladiators now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Montgomery for a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 2. Riverheads will face a Mustangs team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-0.
