California High School Baseball - Cathedral Catholic holds off Point Loma

Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 7-3 in a league test.

With the win, Cathedral Catholic upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Dons travel to Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 2. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 10-5. Scripps Ranch won 9-3 in their recent league test against Clairemont (San Diego, CA)

With the defeat, Point Loma falls to 15-6 on the season. The Pointers travel to St. Augustine (San Diego, CA) to battle the Saints in a test on Monday, May 1.
