The Roy Royals lacrosse team scored 10 points and held the visiting Layton Lancers to 3 in the Royals league win on Thursday.
The Royals (6-11) will now prepare for their match against Fremont (Plain City, UT). The Silverwolves go into the 6A Region 1 match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Fremont nudged Syracuse (Syracuse, UT), 19-4, in a league match.
The Lancers (2-11) will now prepare for their match against Weber (Pleasant View, UT). The Warriors go into the 6A Region 1 match with a 9-7 record. In their last match, Weber was overwhelmed by Farmington (Farmington, UT), 10-8, in a league match.
