North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Scituate Spartans (North Scituate, RI), 12-3 in a league battle.

The Northmen now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rogers for a Division 4 battle on Monday, May 1. North Smithfield will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Scituate (North Scituate, RI). The Vikings record now stands at 7-0.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) in a Division 4 battle, on Saturday, April 29. Scituate will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 14-1 league win over East Providence (East Providence, RI).
