Virginia High School Soccer - Radford knocks off Alleghany

Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bobcats confront the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Monday, May 1. Radford will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Martinsville (Martinsville, VA).
The Mountaineers now possess a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they host James River for a Three Rivers challenge on Wednesday, May 3.
