Service Cougars (Anchorage, AK) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Lathrop Malemutes (Fairbanks, AK), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars face the Colony Knights (Palmer, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 29. Service will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Chugiak (Chugiak, AK).

The Malemutes now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chugiak for a Railbelt challenge on Friday, April 28. Lathrop will face a Mustangs team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Colony (Palmer, AK). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-4.
