The Clayton Yellowjackets softball team (Clayton, NM), was tipped 14-13 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Pecos Panthers (Pecos, NM)
Coming up next, the Panthers confront the McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 1. Pecos will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 3-15 record after their 17-2 league loss to Mora (Mora, NM).
The Yellowjackets now possess a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Logan for a A/2A District 6 bout on Friday, April 28. Clayton will confront a Longhorns squad coming off a 19-3 non-league win over San Jon (San Jon, NM). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-12.
