The Santiam Wolverines softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Culver Bulldogs to 4 in the Wolverines league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Santiam moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Wolverines host Central Linn (Halsey, OR) to clash with the Cobras in a 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 game on Friday, April 28. The Cobras come into the game with a record of 1-4. Central Linn lost 10-9 in their recent league game against Regis (Stayton, OR)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 29. Culver will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 7-1 record after their 29-3 non-league win over Colton (Colton, OR).
