The United Golden Eagles softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host East Palestine Bulldogs to 1 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, United improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Salem (Salem, OH) to clash with the Quakers in a non-league game on Monday, May 1. The Quakers come into the game with a record of 4-14. Salem lost 15-3 in their recent league game against Carrollton (Carrollton, OH)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Columbiana Clippers (Columbiana, OH) in a Eastern Ohio Athletic game, on Monday, May 1. East Palestine will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Clippers come into the game with a 17-2 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Evergreen (Metamora, OH).
