Pennsylvania High School Softball - Pleasant Valley gets by East Stroudsburg South

The Pleasant Valley Bears got by the host East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers softball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Bears (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA). The Cardinals go into the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, Pocono Mountain East was edged by Stroudsburg (Stroudsburg, PA), 4-3, in a league battle.

The Cavaliers now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pocono Mountain West for a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference battle on Monday, May 1. East Stroudsburg South will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 21-0 league win over East Stroudsburg North (Dingmans Ferry, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-11.
