The Sheyenne Mustangs softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Fargo North Spartans to 3 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Sheyenne moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to West Fargo (West Fargo, ND) to clash with the Packers in a Class A - East Region game on Thursday, May 4. The Packers come into the game with a record of 1-1.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) in a Class A - East Region game, on Saturday, April 29. Fargo North will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Firebirds come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 12-8 league loss to Shanley (Fargo, ND).
