Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL) and the host Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL), witnessed Galesburg's softball squad tip Quincy by a count of 11-5.

The Silver Streaks now sport a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Rock Island for a Western Big 6 match on Monday, May 1. Galesburg will face a Rocks squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Rocks record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Quincy moves to 7-13 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Moline (Moline, IL) to face the Maroons in a Western Big 6 match on Tuesday, May 2. The Maroons go into the match with a record of 7-10.
