GlenOak Golden Eagles (Canton, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Louisville Leopards (Louisville, OH), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host McKinley for a Federal challenge on Tuesday, May 2.

With the loss, Louisville falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Leopards host Alliance (Alliance, OH) to face the Aviators in a Northeastern Buckeye challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Aviators enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Alliance won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against West Branch (Beloit, OH)
