Michigan High School Softball - Mattawan can't hold off Gull Lake

The Gull Lake Blue Devils softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Mattawan Wildcats to 8 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Gull Lake improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Blue Devils host Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MI) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 8-0.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Portage Northern Huskies (Portage, MI) in a Southwestern Michigan - West game, on Thursday, May 4. Mattawan will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
