The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Gunderson Grizzlies (San Jose, CA) and the visiting Hill Falcons (San Jose, CA), saw Gunderson's softball squad achieve victory over Hill by a count of 18-3.

The Grizzlies now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Jose for a West Valley match on Tuesday, May 2. Gunderson will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Elliot Christian (Lodi, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Hill falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Independence (San Jose, CA) to face the 76ers in a West Valley match on Tuesday, May 2. The 76ers enter the match with a record of 8-3. Independence won 21-4 in their recent league match against James Lick (San Jose, CA)
