Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) and the visiting Holton Wildcats (Holton, KS), witnessed Nemaha Central's softball squad tip Holton by a count of 11-10.

The Thunder now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Perry-Lecompton for a Big Seven match on Monday, May 1. Nemaha Central will face a Kaws squad coming off a 8-5 league loss to Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS). The Kaws record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Holton moves to 10-4 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS) to face the Cyclones in a Big Seven match on Monday, May 1. The Cyclones go into the match with a record of 5-9. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] lost 8-2 in their recent non-league match against Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS)
