The McHenry Warriors softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Jacobs Golden Eagles to 5 in the Warriors league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, McHenry improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Warriors host Cary-Grove (Cary, IL) to encounter the Trojans in a Fox Valley outing on Monday, May 1. The Trojans enter the outing with a record of 5-12. Cary-Grove lost 6-1 in their recent league outing against Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL)

The Golden Eagles (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Thunder enter the non-league outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Woodstock North was routed by Harvard (Harvard, IL), 2-0, in a league outing.
