Maryland High School Softball - Kent Island nudges North Caroline

The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Kent Island Buccaneers (Stevensville, MD) and the visiting North Caroline Bulldogs (Ridgely, MD), observed Kent Island's softball team edge North Caroline by a score of 13-12.
Coming up next, the Buccaneers encounter the Kent County Trojans (Worton, MD) in a Bayside - North test, on Tuesday, May 2. Kent Island will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 1-9 record after their 13-1 league loss to North Dorchester (Hurlock, MD).
The Bulldogs (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Indian River (Dagsboro, DE). The Indians come into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Indian River edged Delmar (Delmar, DE), 12-0, in a league test.
