The King William Cavaliers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Mathews Blue Devils to 0 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, King William improves its record to 16-2 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to West Point (West Point, VA) to clash with the Pointers in a Tidewater game on Tuesday, May 2. The Pointers come into the game with a record of 6-7. West Point lost 9-2 in their recent league game against Middlesex (Saluda, VA)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 1. Mathews will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record.
