California High School Softball - Nevada Union Lincoln

The Nevada Union Miners softball team (Grass Valley, CA), was routed 12-6 in Thursday's league test with the host Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA)

Coming up next, the Fighting Zebras encounter the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) in a Foothill Valley League test, on Tuesday, May 2. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Hillmen come into the test with a 0-11 record after their 18-0 league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA).

The Miners (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Elk Grove, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 19-3 record. In their last test, Franklin edged Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA), 7-3, in a league test.
