In Thursday's league contest, the Valley Christian Vikings (Dublin, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA), by a margin of 19-14.

With the triumph, Valley Christian moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Vikings travel to California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA) to play the Eagles in a contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 7-4. California School for the Deaf won 23-8 in their recent non-league contest against Texas School for the Deaf (Austin, TX)

In their next game, the Marlins play the Urban Blues (San Francisco, CA) in a Bay Counties - West contest, on Wednesday, May 3. Making Waves Academy will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record.
