In Thursday's league outing, the host Miamisburg Vikings softball team scored a close 6-2 win over the Northmont Thunderbolts.
Coming up next, the Vikings battle the Springfield Wildcats (Springfield, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio outing, on Friday, April 28. Miamisburg will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 2-9 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Graham Local (St. Paris, OH).
The Thunderbolts (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH). The Beavers enter the Greater Western Ohio challenge with a 11-7 record. In their last challenge, Beavercreek got by Wayne (Huber Heights, OH), 15-6, in a league challenge.
