The Valley View Cougars softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host North Pocono Trojans to 1 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Valley View moves its record to 12-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to clash with the Comets in a Lackawanna 1 game on Monday, May 1. The Comets come into the game with a record of 2-5. Abington Heights lost 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 1. North Pocono will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA).
