Oconomowoc Raccoons (Oconomowoc, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Raccoons now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kettle Moraine for a Classic Eight challenge on Friday, April 28. Oconomowoc will battle a Lasers squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Waukesha South (Waukesha, WI). The Lasers record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Waukesha West falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI) to battle the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. St. Thomas More won 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Francis (St. Francis, WI)
