California High School Softball - Olympian bounces Sweetwater

The Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) softball routed the visiting Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA), 15-5 in Thursday's league bout.

The Eagles (10-11) will now prepare for their bout against Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 9-14 record. In their last bout, Southwest EC was routed by Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA), 4-2, in a league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 2-14 record. They play next when they travel to San Ysidro for a Metro South Bay bout on Tuesday, May 2. Sweetwater will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-13.
