The Tigerton Tigers softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Tri-County Penguins to 16 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Tigerton moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Tigers host Marion (Marion, WI) to play the Mustangs in a Central Wisconsin - Small game on Monday, May 1. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 0-5.
In their next game, the Penguins play the Nekoosa Papermakers (Nekoosa, WI) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 28. Tri-County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Papermakers come into the game with a 2-6 record after their 15-3 league loss to Westfield Area (Westfield, WI).
