The University Liggett Knights baseball team (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Saturday's league outing with the host Brother Rice Warriors (Bloomfield Hills, MI)

The Warriors now hold a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Francis de Sales for a Three Rivers outing on Tuesday, April 30. Brother Rice will face a Knights team coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Clay (Oregon, OH). The Knights record now stands at 7-7.

Next, the Knights face the Central Trail Blazers (Detroit, MI) in a Freelance outing, on Wednesday, May 1. University Liggett will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Trail Blazers enter the outing with a 7-10 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI).
