The Monta Vista Matadors the visiting Del Mar Dons baseball team by a count of 4-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Matadors now possess a 6-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lynbrook for a El Camino bout on Thursday, May 2. Monta Vista will face a Vikings team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 6-16.
