Connecticut High School Baseball - Pomfret School loses to Frederick Gunn

The Pomfret School Griffins baseball team (Pomfret, CT), was overwhelmed 8-2 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT)

The Highlanders now hold a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Luke's for a non-league outing on Monday, April 29. Frederick Gunn will face a Storm team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Cardinal Hayes (Bronx, NY). The Storm record now stands at 5-7.

Next, the Griffins face the Cheshire Academy Cats (Cheshire, CT) in a Western New England outing, on Wednesday, May 1. Pomfret School will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record. The Cats enter the outing with a 7-3 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Hopkins (New Haven, CT).
