Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Grove City loses to Slippery Rock

The Grove City Eagles baseball team (Grove City, PA), was overwhelmed 10-2 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA)

The Rockets now hold a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a District 10 Region 2 outing on Wednesday, May 1. Slippery Rock will face a Knights team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Conneaut Area (Linesville, PA). The Knights record now stands at 3-9.

With the defeat, Grove City falls to 6-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hickory (Hermitage, PA) to battle the Hornets in a District 10 Region 2 test on Wednesday, May 1. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 3-6. Hickory lost 17-5 in their recent league test against Titusville (Titusville, PA)
