The Middletown North Lions crushed the visiting Monmouth Regional Falcons baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freehold Township for a Shore - A North bout on Monday, April 29. Middletown North will face a Patriots team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Matawan Regional (Aberdeen, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 2-10.
Next, the Falcons face the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers (Point Pleasant, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 29. Monmouth Regional will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 9-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Howell (Farmingdale, NJ).
