In Saturday's league test, the visiting Westerly Bulldogs lacrosse squad scored a tight 19-16 victory over the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties.
The Bulldogs now have a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fitch for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 1. Westerly will face a Falcons squad coming off a 12-6 league win over Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 6-2.
In their next game, the Mounties face the Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI) in a Division 3 battle, on Sunday, April 28. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 18-7 league loss to Westerly (Westerly, RI).
