In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Kodiak Bears soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Houston Hawks.
The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Redington (Wasilla, AK). The Huskies go into the Northern Lights battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, Redington was nudged by Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Grizzlies go into the Northern Lights battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Grace Christian was nudged by North Pole (North Pole, AK), 7-1, in a non-league battle.
