Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fallsburg Comets (Fallsburg, NY), 17-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chester for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Beacon will face a Hambletonians squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Sullivan West (Lake Huntington, NY). The Hambletonians record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Fallsburg falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 6-3. Port Jervis won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY)
