Harrisville Pirates (Harrisville, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Clifton-Fine Clifton-Fine Eagles (Star Lake, NY), 26-0 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morristown Central for a Section 10 West challenge on Monday, April 29. Harrisville will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 26-10 league win over Edwards-Knox (Russell, NY). The Rockets record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Clifton-Fine falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Clifton-fine eagles travel to Hammond Central (Hammond, NY) to battle the Red Devils in a Section 10 West challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Hammond Central won 8-3 in their recent league challenge against Edwards-Knox (Russell, NY)
