The Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) softball routed the host Clifton Mustangs (Clifton, NJ), 11-4 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Passaic Valley (Little Falls, NJ). The Hornets go into the Big North - Independence bout with a 8-4 record.
The Mustangs now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hackensack for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. Clifton will confront a Comets squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ). The Comets record now stands at 6-10.
