In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Lake Blue Streaks softball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Field Falcons.

Coming up next, the Blue Streaks encounter the Jackson Polar Bears (Massillon, OH) in a Federal outing, on Tuesday, April 30. Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Polar Bears enter the outing with a 11-11 record after their 11-1 league loss to GlenOak (Canton, OH).

The Falcons (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Coventry (Akron, OH). The Comets enter the Metro Athletic Conference outing with a 9-7 record.
