The Groveton Indians softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Joaquin Rams to 2 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Groveton moves its record to 25-4 on the year. The Indians travel to Deweyville (Deweyville, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Thursday, May 2. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 8-4. Deweyville won 9-1 in their recent non-league game against Woden (Woden, TX)
